Machining Process Engineer

Essential Job Functions:
Involvement in manufacturing on the floor: investigation and action plan development for resolution of issues such as high scrap, poor cycle time, increase downtime, etc.
Lead teams for PDCA activities to identify root cause and implement countermeasures for variety of automotive products
Cost reduction/profitability improvement activities
Ergonomic optimization - safety enhancement
Participate in Kaizen, 3P, Lean activities to support both advanced manufacturing planning and continuous improvement activities
Assist in new job feasibility/quoting; including working with vendors for equipment quotes and timing
Work with quality department to develop PFMEAs, Process Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and other planning documentation
Manage and update process information resulting from a process changes and cost improvements. (Procedures, instructions, forms and Process Change Notifications (PCNs)
Expectation is to ultimately be able to manage new program equipment procurement, installation & launches; including creating and managing timelines, vendors, account managers and indirect staff within the plant to arrange and coordinate new equipment delivery, installation and setup
Requirements:
Education and
Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university in a technical area or a technical associates degree and 2
years related experience or training and experience deemed equivalent to the above by GDC
Skills: CNC Programming Capability/Experience, Knowledge of cutting tool design and application for a variety of CNC machining processes - primarily lathes and multi-axis machining centers
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
