5 Paid Holidays 2 Weeks Institutional Closing Pay (Last 2 weeks of December) for qualifying positions Employee Assistance Program Job Summary Henderson Community College is seeking a friendly, organized, self-starter, and dedicated professional to serve as the Human Resources Assistant.
Job Duties:
Performs clerical duties to include screening calls, typing, filing, scanning, maintaining employee files, and other duties as required for the Human Resources Director.
Assists HR Director with on-campus social events hosted by the Human Resources Department.
Assists Human Resources Director with benefits administration for new hires, open enrollment, and exiting employees.
Prepares and assists with new hire on-boarding and employee recognition.
Serves as Wellness Champion and as a member of the Wellness Committee; works with faculty and staff to promote wellness campus-wide.
Supports Human Resources Director with job openings, new hire orientation, and off-boarding.
Works closely with the Office of Academic Affairs to administer adjunct faculty credentialing processes, adjunct faculty employment contracts, and overloads/stipends for full-time faculty/staff.
Assists the Human Resources Director with weekly/monthly/annual reporting.
Coordinates Staff Professional Development.
Maintains Faculty/Staff/Student/Temporary employee files as required by Human Resources and Academic Affairs for audit purposes.
Provides supplemental administrative support to the Office of Academic Affairs as needed and approved by the HR Director.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor (HR Director).
Minimum
Qualifications:
Associate degree and two years related work experience, or equivalent.
Professional and Positive attitude to promote and support the culture at HCC.
Demonstrates strong working knowledge with computers and database programs; (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PeopleSoft, OnBase, PageUp) Additional Skills Requested:
Strong administrative skill set.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
