POSITION OVERVIEW The Kentucky Housing Manager is responsible for working with those living with HIV and the Matthew 25 team to insure that patients that test positive for HIV/AIDS are connected to housing resources, with vulnerable populations being the most urgent.
The Kentucky Housing Manager will accomplish this by utilizing Matthew 25's housing programs, HOPWA and TBRA.
These programs assist clients who are at-risk for homelessness and those who are homeless.
Housing services can be provided by intensive patient navigation and support in locating resources for housing and to enable clients to be self-sufficient.
This may include connections to jobs, education, skills, or other forms of income.
QUALIFICATIONS Required Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Social Work or Related Field) or equivalent experience with Housing Program Administration or Case Management Prior experience working in a Not-for-Profit or Federally Funded Program Experience with poverty and homeless populations Must have good working knowledge of diverse populations' health issues with specific understanding of the impact of HIV/AIDS and the health-related disparities faced by diverse populations.
Flexibility, as our services are available to a large geographic area in the state of Kentucky, which may require some travel Must have COVID-19 Vaccination.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
